As a photographer, there are certain assignments that allow you to witness and capture the pure essence of love. Recently, I had the privilege of photographing a romantic couples session in the captivating setting of the Puerto Nuevo Beach in Puerto Rico. With vintage lanterns delicately lighting the couple, the scene was transformed into a dreamlike ambiance that perfectly complemented the couple’s love story. Join me as I share my perspective on this enchanting photo session.
Setting the Stage:
Puerto Rico, with its picturesque landscapes and breathtaking coastline, provided an idyllic backdrop for this intimate photo session. The couple and I spoke about different ideas but ultimately shared the same passion about images are a visually stunning and would not only capture their affection but also evoke a sense of timeless romance.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, we prepared to bring their vision to life during the blue hour.
Vintage Lanterns: A Pathway to Love:
To create a sense of nostalgia and evoke a whimsical atmosphere, we incorporated vintage lanterns for them to carry. The soft, warm glow emitted by these lanterns instantly transported us to a bygone era, where love stories unfolded under the moonlit sky. Their delicate flicker cast a gentle illumination on the couple, enhancing their features and lending an air of mystery to the photographs.
Embracing the Nighttime Magic:
